Construction Law Construction law has become increasingly important in Iraq and we expect this trend to continue in the coming years as Iraq’s infrastructure is rebuilt. Construction has formed a substantial part of our commercial practice, but is likely to become a separate section as our work expands further in this area. In the past years we have acted for owners, contractors, designers and financial institutions, whether contentiously or non-contentiously. For the former, we have a well-established litigation and arbitration department. We also have long experience in drafting building contracts and advising upon them.
