17. Follow up on health activities carried out by the World Bank in Iraq and liaise with the Ministry of Health regarding various health related programs such as health system reform, national health accounts and sustainable financing.
18. Follow up on the Vocational Training Project of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Achievements:
1. Establish the Family medicine specialty (residency program) for the first time in Iraq (in 1995) for medical doctors as Board Certified specialists with the development of all necessary curricula and training programs. 2. Establish the Occupational and Environmental Medicine specialty (residency program) for the first time in Iraq (in 1996) for medical doctors as Board Certified specialists with the development of all necessary curricula and training program. 3. Establish the Iraqi Family Physicians Society for the first time in Iraq (2003) and elected as the Honorary President. Experience:
